"Favorites" Book

My kids and I enjoyed putting together books of all the things that inspired them from pictures they found in magazines the other day! It was a simple activity that got the kids crafting and happily busy. I gave each child a small photo book to put each of their magazine snippets into. Afterward, the kids enjoyed flipping through the pages and explaining to us why they chose what they did.

I think it is beneficial to recognize for themselves what they love and also, to see that we don't all chose the same things! Plus, kids love crafting and it doesn't have to be a super fancy undertaking for it to be fun. Simple is best. Let's keep things that way, right Mom friends?
