Excellent book! I would like to read her personal book now and also the book her father wrote which my friend recommended to me the other day. Hearing of her story even from this children's book I read to my younger daughters helped put into perspective how truly spoiled and fortunate we are to live in the United States even amongst the problems of this time. Many people have it much worse. Many people like Malala and her fellow schoolmates just want to go to school and not hear bombs going off in their town every night. It is horrible what the Taliban and truly unjust people can inflict on good peaceable civilians. This book prompted a little of good questions from my daughters. Overall excellent book.
